The Retreat will be held at VALDIROSE, a quaint FAMILY owned B&B in lastra signa, a short distance from Florence, Italy,
Valdirose has a warm, casual feel with comfortable beds, private baths & wifi in each room. Drool worthy antiques are scattered throughout the tiny villa and our local hosts Irene and Paolo each morninig you will treat you to a drool worthy breakfast in the sunroom.
Join us next fall for a once in a life time experience in Tuscany, Italy. Allow yourself to be suduced by the gently rolling hills, valleys of grape wines, olive groves and their iconic centuries old cypress trees. Embrace the most beautiful and civilized region of Italy with all its history, arts and culture. Explore local villages as we walk along crumbled stone paths and transform ourselves back to the 16th century.
This lifestyle retreat is designed for those who seek a deep connection to the land and the history that has shaped our modern world. We have planned two authentic cooking classes, antiquing at the famous Arezzo market, a guided walking Florence Tour and a curated wine tour in Chianti. Additional experiences are added based on the season and availability.
Limited space are available for this intimate retreat. The groups are small. Six spots maximum fosters connection and a lasting bond with guests.
MEET YOur Host
Marisa Curatolo is a Paris-trained cook, food stylist and culinary instructor.
She has written two cookbooks, “Appetizers: Easy and Delicious” and
“Our Jets at Home: Favourite Recipes and Foods to Share” and has been featured in many Canadian publications.
As well as being a chef, she owns the Butler’s Daughter-an online antique
store-where she sells unique pieces for the well loved home.
Her love for Tuscany runs deep as she has Italian roots and has studied Art in Florence.
This is her 5th year offering retreats ti Otaly and also has explained to Creatove Art Retreats.
